Years of trying to blend the grey with more and more highlights had left the hair overly highlighted, yellow and brassy, with very little natural-looking depth remaining.
Rather than creating a seamless blend, the excessive lightness was actually making the overall colour feel flat and disconnected from her natural grey.
THE PLAN
The goal wasn’t to add even more highlights — it was to restore the balance.
We strategically added depth back into the hair while brightening where needed, working with her natural grey pattern to create softness, dimension and a much more seamless result.

This is a perfect example of why grey blending isn’t simply about making the hair lighter.
By restoring the right amount of depth and placing brightness where it was actually needed, her natural grey now feels like part of the colour rather than something we’re trying to cover or disguise.
