Whether you want to gradually embrace more of your natural grey or simply find a softer way to live with it, your journey will be completely personalised to you.

How your Grey Blending Journey begins -

1. Complete my consultation form

Tell me a little about your hair history, your current struggles and what you’d love to achieve.

2. Your in-depth consultation- 
If I feel we could be a good match to work together, I’ll invite you for a one-to-one or Zoom consultation where  we can really get to know your hair and create a plan.

3. Your personalised Grey Blending Journey begins- 
No two heads of grey are the same. Your colour plan will be completely bespoke to your natural grey pattern, your starting point and your end goal.

4. Ongoing maintenance & support- 
Grey blending isn’t a one-and-done appointment. We’ll continue to assess your hair as your natural grey grows through, making adjustments along the way to keep everything beautifully blended.

How do I start my Grey Blending Journey?

Your Grey Blending Journey begins by completing my online consultation form.

This gives me the opportunity to learn a little about you, your hair history, what you’re currently struggling with and what you’d ultimately love to achieve.

If I feel we could be a good match to work together, I’ll invite you to book an in-depth one-to-one/ zoom consultation.

Your consultation is £50 and is redeemable against your Grey Blending Journey should you decide to go ahead.

What happens at my consultation?

Your consultation is an in depth chat all about you and your hair. We’ll discuss your hair history, what you’re currently struggling with, what you’d love to achieve and how we can get you there.

I’ll then create a realistic plan for your Grey Blending Journey, including what we can achieve, how we’ll approach it and approximately how long your journey may take.

How much regrowth do I need before starting?

You will need at least 8-10 weeks regrowth. This is for me to be able to see your unique grey hair pattern. 

Do I have to grow all of my grey out?

No, absolutely not. This is one of the biggest misconceptions about grey blending.

You can choose to fully embrace your natural grey, but there is also a beautiful middle ground where we continue to use colour while integrating your natural grey into your overall look. The goal is a softer, more seamless blend without the harsh regrowth line.

Can you grey blend previously coloured or highlighted hair?

Yes, absolutely. Grey blending can be ideal if you’re trying to move away from a harsh regrowth line or overly highlighted, yellowy hair.

However, the health and integrity of your hair will always come first. If I feel your hair needs some extra care before we begin, I may recommend postponing your journey and following a professional haircare plan first. Healthy hair gives us the best possible canvas to work with.

Can grey blending be achieved in one appointment?

Grey blending is a journey, not a one-appointment service. Your first appointment is about creating a beautiful new canvas and beginning to soften and blend your existing colour with your natural grey.

You’ll see a big improvement after your first appointment and leave feeling much happier with your hair, but achieving a truly seamless blend takes time, patience and adjustments along the way.

How long will my Grey Blending Journey take?

Every Grey Blending Journey is different. How long yours takes will depend on your natural grey percentage, your hair history and your desired end goal.

Typically, a journey can take anywhere from 6–12 months. Remember, it’s not a race. Working  gradually allows us to protect the health of your hair while tweaking and perfecting your blend as your natural grey grows through.

Will I still need to colour my hair?

This all depends on your end goal. If you wish to fully embrace your natural grey, your future maintenance may simply involve tonal appointments, treatments and haircuts.

If you prefer a middle ground, keeping some colour while embracing your grey, then some ongoing colour maintenance will be needed. We’ll discuss this as part of your Grey Blending Journey so you know exactly what to expect going forward.

This includes all of your colour work throughout the journey and a detailed, personalised plan designed around your hair, your starting point and your end goal.
